Conclusion of the Sous Vide Quick Start Course
Welcome to the final lesson of the free Sous Vide Quick Start Course!
We've gone through a lot of content over the last several days and I hope you're feeling excited and ready to continue along your sous vide journey. Sous vide has transformed my cooking and I know it can transform yours as well!
My goal during this course was to give you the basic information and the confidence you need to get started, and hopefully you've seen how incredible (and easy!) the food cooked with sous vide can be.
We have just scratched the surface of what is possible, but now that you know the basics, you'll be able to tackle future meals head on.
I got started with sous vide over a decade ago, when I received a sous vide temperature controller that my crock pot plugged into and a copy of Thomas Keller's Under Pressure cookbook. After struggling to make sense of it, I finally dove into doing research on my own so I could actually understand what was happening.
This desire to simplify sous vide and make it accessible to regular cooks is what led to my blog, my cookbooks, and this course. Amazing Food Made Easy is just a small family run company trying to help sous vide cooks create amazing food at home.
I Have Two Favors to Ask of You
1) Could I get your review?
I put a lot of effort into creating courses like this, so if you have a few minutes I'd love for you to tell me what you thought of the course and where you plan on going next with your sous vide process. Positive or negative, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
You can leave it below in the article comments, in the Exploring Sous Vide Facebook Group, or tag me on Instagram @afmeasy or #SousVideQuickStart.
2) Share This
As a cook, you probably know lots of other cooks, I know I do! If there is anyone you know who would benefit from the course, please let them know about it. Or if you are on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram please share it there. Every little bit helps to spread the word to people that are looking to gain confidence and elevate their cooking.

I've explored everything from sous vide and whipping siphons to pressure cookers and blow torches; created foams, gels and spheres; made barrel aged cocktails and brewed beer. I have also written 10 cookbooks on modernist cooking and sous vide and I run the AmazingFoodMadeEasy.com website.
