Circulator or water bath
In the Sous Vide Recipes Forum
Hi all,
I'm looking to take the plunge (pardon the pun) into sous vide for the first time. I'm torn between two different types of sous vide machine https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anova-Culinary-Bluetooth-Precision-Cooker/dp/B00UKPBXM4/ref=sr_1_17?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1511250196&sr=1-17&keywords=sous+vide
This one or https://www.amazon.co.uk/Andrew-James-Professional-Package-Machine/dp/B018XUAA08/ref=sr_1_6?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1511250196&sr=1-6&keywords=sous+vide
The second option seems better value and I wouldn't have to buy a separate container or worry about ping pong balls etc.
Am I missing something? As long as I can do 4 steaks and a decent sized joint of meat, size doesn't matter too much.
Thanks in advance,
Dom

Well, this is two months late and I assume you took the second option with the bath and sealer. it is purely a starter kit but seems to fill the bill.
Hope you are having fun with sous vide.
