Sous vide supreme VS Immersion Circulator

Hello,
I just purchased a SousVide Supreme Demi. I actually didn't do much research into buying it and comparing it to other options out there. Now after reading more about sous vide, I've noticed that the professional chefs are using immersion circulators, where it continuously circulates the water around the food. What I didn't realize is that SousVide Supreme doesn't do that.
Are there any advantages in using a circulator as opposed to the SousVide Supreme that doesn't circulate water? Any difference in terms of cooking quality.

I have both but I haven't noticed any difference. The circulator is more convenient as I can just clamp it to a stock pot and it gets to temperature A LOT quicker. I use my (full size) SVS for larger items and preparing pre-cooked dishes.

There's not a ton of difference as far as what a home cook would need. You should do just fine with the
Sous Vide Supreme. I've used both, as well as the Sous Vide Magic and I think they are all ok for the home cook. The immersion circulator has a little more precision and seems to heat up faster, which is nice, but the main benefit for me is that you can use any size of container with it up to 8 liters or something.
I was very pleased with the Sous Vide Supreme when I was using it and you should be very happy with it.
