How much sodium alginate to make a direct sphere?

In the Modernist Ingredients and Equipment Forum

I’ve had a lot of success making spheres using the reverse spherification process. I read somewhere on the forum about the amount of sodium alginate for this technique. I’ve moved on to trying making spheres with direct spherification and would like to know if you know how much sodium alginate to put into the base liquid? I’d really appreciate the help!
